Wow. I felt like C-R-A-P this morning! I slept really terrible, had a raging headache and was in a state of general discomfort throughout the night. I woke up several times, couldn't get comfortable and had really weird dreams. Ugh! Glad to be back on the W30 wagon today!
Breakfast: Starting out the day on the right foot. Sweet potato hash (I think it was my best batch yet) with two eggs, some sliced red pepper and an apple with a few grapes. Yum!
Workout: I actually found myself putting off the workout this morning. I knew it was going to be tough after the carrot cake yesterday and then I saw that "Pure Cardio" and "Cardio Abs" were on the docket...ugh...the hardest videos...well, got it done and felt really good after.
PWM: Scrambled up two eggs and some yellow squash. And a citrus kombucha for the afternoon...apparently I was only eating and drinking yellow foods...
Lunch: A later lunch than planned but I wasn't really hungry so it worked out. A burger patty topped with mixed greens, onion, tomato, mushrooms and a little bacon. With carrots, a bunch of asparagus and half a balsamic bacon avocado.
Dinner: A late dinner because I forgot to take my chicken sausage to work so I waited to eat until I got home. Pesto spaghetti squash with 2 chicken sausages, some cucumber and half a sweet potato in thins. I was surprised I wasn't more hungry after so many hours.
Thoughts:
I tried an experiment today-normally at lunch I would have eaten two patties and the whole avocado. (The patties are actually one thick patty cut in half so it cooks better on the Foreman) But today, I wanted to see if I'd be full after altering the amount of food. I kept the amount of veggies the same and just decreased the protein and fats. Well, I was full. And full for a long time too! I ate lunch about 145/2 and didn't sit down to eat dinner until right before posting this...so I sat at down at 750. I didn't snack or anything today...just polished off the kombucha around 4pm. Looks like I've been overeating and not even realized it. Well, wonder how this will change my results!
I have more thoughts but I really need to eat my dinner...I'll have a longer post tomorrow...
